thinkin about trading the balt in

So i've got my car paid off (07 ss/na with 30k) and i've been lookin around for something different. i've been searching around for an srt-4 actually and i found one around where i am. what do you all think? would i be better off trying to sell my car myself or trading it in, i'm really not looking to spend much money, if any at all, but i am aware that my car isnt really worth anything. but i know some salesmen at this dealer and they are good friends with my dad. so what do you all think? any input from the srt-4 guys or anyone with any knowledge on them would be greatly appreciated

Just about every used SRT4 has been completely beat to ****.

I know two people who have bought one, then a couple of weeks later the motor ****.

true, but with my dad running two of the dealerships in the automall, and knowing tons of mechanics there, i'd for sure have it checked inside and out before buying. plus, if anything were to go wrong, i'm sure i wouldnt have any problems with getting it taken care of.

You have no idea what the interior of that engine looks like, same with the tranny.

I'd be really careful with this one.

its not anything about that here, let them settle that privately cause frankly its none of your business, is harrassing, and if beck wanted it back he has legal ways of doing it. dont bring this into other threads...you want to make ONE thread and back someone up on that...thats your business..but dont spam peoples threads and troll around...

Trade it in and get something new. If you want to stay on a Cobalt platform, but faster, mine is for sale... but I would suggest getting something totally different.

Trade it for a SS/TC if you can. I would bet it will be the more solid car down the road than an SRT-4.

my dad is like the second guy in command at a GM dealership and with GM doing so poorly, it doesn't matter how nice of shape your car is in, they're not going to give you much for it at all. I would try to sell it myself and hopefully someone who can appreciate a nicely kept car will take it off ur hands at a much better price. Just my opinion. Definitely get a quote from the dealer but i bet its going to be underpriced
