i was think about getting the wife a SS 2.4 auto coupe when i get back so see wont have to drive my RL. she not so good with the 5spd. i was wondering what the price range they should be in. thanks adam

Depends. My 2006 stickered for 19 thousand-something. MSRP for a stripped 5-speed was $15,600, again for a 2006.

That might provide a range to shoot for, although I've seen 2.4s that stickered over20,000.

I assume he wants to buy new, and with an automatic.

 

well thats the range ive seen most of them... well id like to get here a new one but a used one that still under warranty would be the most likey car id get. cause my 05 has an extended warranty best mod i got for it... since my A/C comperssor went out. so i dont mind buying an extended warranty on a 1 or 2 year old car.

my wife loves hers. hers is a 5 speed though. she picked that one because it was easier to see out of, didn't ride as rough, and wasn't too powerful. those were her complaints about my ss/sc.

 

go to carmax... i got an 06 5spd with 2k miles for 13k... autos are like 14k from them and im sure they still got some with that low of mileage.. also dont be afraid to ship. i shipped mine to tx from mississippi. it only costed like 440.

well im not buy til i get back from iraq in 3 months. but i did find a 06 4dr SS for 14$ that had 26K on it. that a good deal? and she wants a 4dr auto.
