Thinking About Selling
Thinking About Selling
I have a 2006 SS/SC with 51,000 miles and no damage or torn seats or anything. Car was only driven to King Soopers and back on Sundays and to California and back three times which is where most of those miles came from. Car is black and was always garaged, never driven in rain or snow.
Battery was replaced twice due to it sitting in the garage and not starting it in a few months both times.
Going by what I see on KBB.com and Craigslist, for this car in great shape should go for $10,000 in a private sale but of course, real life may be different in todays economy.
Has anyone here had success in selling their SS for say, $7,000-$10,000?
No mods, only added a Pioneer touchscreen DVD player a few years back.
Denver Colorado, Turnpike and Pecos area.

Yeah, so I would value your car near or around $8k. If you market it with not driven in winter/rain you could maybe get near $9k especially if it wasn't molested mod wise by bad parts. My question is what options? Do you have G85? heated seats, high rise spoiler? The loaded one will keep the value up.

I just looked at the engine also and it still looks spotless like straight from the factory. I think I'll list it at almost $9,000 and see what happens.
Not much into cars, just old and thought it would be fun to own and I bought it because it had the high rise spoiler, the Pioneer stereo with the subwoofer and XM and leather seats. It just happened to have a free supercharger included. I bought it brand new.

Not sure what G85 is so it must not have that. No heated seats either, just the standard black leather seats with the SS logo on the backs.

G85 in a SS/SC is the limited slip trans and Recaro seats. If it doesnt have recaros stock from the factory it doesnt have a limited slip trans.
