Thinking of buying SS SC,??

Ive been contemplating purcahsing a ss sc coablt for a a while now, Id like to know what it does in the 1/4 stock, Ive seen one here at the local track run 14.0 all day, I dont know if it was stock or not?
Are u guys having any problems with these cars, Ive previously owned gm' cars in the past And have had minor issues with them.

runs about ~14.6+ in the 1/4 due to traction issues when on the track when stock. Minor problems normally easily corrected. nothing major at all.

edit: welcome

Ive been reading these forums, and i found that there are two GM stage Upgrades available, Is it true that these will not void the waranty? And with these upgrades are 13's Possible?

Yes GM offers a stage 2 kit that will NOT void the warranty if you buy it and have it installed by them. Yes 13's will be possible. If you are speed obsessed (like many) you can go with an aftermarket INTENSE kit (www.intense-racing.com) which could bring you to high 12's at the max stage 5.

Problems minor, go test drive one and you'll be sold.

Stage 1 and Stage 2, they won't void your warranty. Yes 13's are possible with them.

Doesn't void warrenty and yes 13's should def. be possible cept the thing holding everyone back is traction. There is a wealth of knowledge on the site which can likely be found easier using the search feature. This way you can make searching for info a lot easier than thread jumping.

the best time stock is a 14.0, but that is with the lsd
also check out an srt4, they are actually cheaper and easier to mod
altho, they have terrible build quality
