Timing Chain Kit Recommendation
Hi,
I have a 2010 Chevy Cobalt 2.2L, I replaced the timing chain tensioner not long ago. I want to get the whole timing chain thing done. What kits you guys recommend?
It this good? with Water Pump
CLOYES 94201SAWP {9-4201SAWP} Includes Water Pump; Does Not Include Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Sprocket or Camshaft Sprockets
More Information for CLOYES 94201SAWP
Thanks,

So yours has vvt so i recommend getting the kit that comes with the vvt actuators and solenoids. Cloyes is gm's supplier for oem so thats a good brand to get. Heres a link.

You can also get the same kit that also includes a water pump but if you do a water pump you also have to take off the converter, so you will need those exhaust gaskets, and you will also have to take off the thermostat rear housing and crossover tube, so i would highly recommend those gaskets as well and throw in a new gates oem temp thermostat. A bit more work but good maintenance while your there. Factory thermostat is known to have the inner seal come loose and hang open, causing the engine to run too cold and set a CEL.
Here is the full timing kit with water pump and the gaskets you would need
