It was like $78 for the film and supplies. I got two sets: 1) for taillights 2) for headlights. Not sure what I'm gonna end up doing with that junk now though.

I don't wanna try to put it on myself and it gets all screwed up. I kinda wish I had gone with them. It was $156 plus S&H. Even if I do end up liking it, not sure if the cops will or not. Then I would be screwed. I would try it myself, but it would have to be really easy. All of the cops have given me warnings, so I am kinda wanting to risk it.

Um...honestly, because it looked awesome on the cars that they had...I mean, it doesn't affect the lighting at all on the Corvette.

That wouldn't affect the light output?? And.....I still don't know what you're talking about. I thought the headlight was all one piece...?? The film did say it had like 90% light transmittance and they said that, that was good considering it's dark smoked. Sorry, I'm not a car expert or anything related to that.

I'm not a bro.. So, it's just the thing in front of the actual lights? Is it kinda like a shield thing? Btw, that looks good.

It seems like that would affect the light though. Plus, it sounds more complicated for me.

Due to the fact he also has different lights, it's fine.

If you have the stock bulbs, you need to leave the chrome to bounce the light.

See mine. It's not super complicated, there are a bunch of how-to threads on here.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I still have the stock bulbs. Because of that, I should just use the film instead of painting it?

No. You can paint over the extra chrome that doesn't matter. This makes it look better, while still having the full light output.

Here's a better pic of mine.

And a friend with stock headlights, so you can see side by side the difference...

Yeah, it looks nice! Both of them do!! So I would just paint around the lights themselves, if I did do that instead of the film thing? Btw, I like that pink colored emblem!

Yes you would just paint around it. When you take the lens off you'll see that the part you want to paint will come off , but the part you do not is attached to the back of the housing. The large chrome piece you want to paint is held in by 3 screws in the back of the housing, just make sure to mask off the turn signal reflector! When you take the headlight apart everything will become clear to you

Okay, thanks!! I think I might do that instead of using that film.
