But for the SC'd Cobalt what is the top speed?

FUEL CUTOFF is 158 until that is u get a tune then u can do wat countless others say they did =break the needle

GM's official word has been "drag limited to 145mph" or something, and pretty much everyone on the forum here knows that to be untrue.

but basically you're dealing with the set 'engine redline' cutoff as the limit for the SS Supercharged. (there is no additional 'electronic speed limiter', such as the Cobalt LS has)
and that essentially means approximately 160mph or so

And yes once you get stage2 or other tune/mod to increase the engine redline to higher rpm then you can have a faster theoretical top speed (I would assume, unless changing gearing, with the 7k rpm redline the theoretical top speed would be around 170+ maybe)

People have claimed to hit the 160mph mark, and/or at least passing 150+, and I know mine has plenty of pull remaining in it passing 140mph but the problem is safety and the right road to do such a thing.
