anyway, to get back on track.... HP and torque are equally important since one is based on the other....thus neither is more important than the other (debating max hp and max torque is different if you want to talk about that one)

Think about it... why almost every part manufacturer, tuner, car manufacturer, race car team(f1, nascar, etc.) talks about and lists HP and HP gains. Then look at every person that has said "Horsepower sales cars, Torque wins races." First look at the ratio of the number of people for each one and then look at their qualifications.

 

well...you could look at it two ways....one, tq is better because if you have a high tq, your getting great power at all RPMs and your HP isnt RPM dependant
or you could say hp is more important because its the actual power your getting, and who cares what RPM you have to run to get there

idk...from this point, im not gonna pick a fav...lol
