Traction Control????

Traction Control????

Does our cobalt have a traction control system, bc it feels like it every time i shift... If so, does anyone here know how to shut it off...bc i've tryed reading the owners manual and no luck!?!?

not that im aware of
if you try to do a burnout, it lets you, traction control wouldnt let you do that

the only so called "traction control" we have is the LSD, which only comes with the G85 package (with recaro seats), and even that would allow you to spin your wheels whenever you want...although youll probably get more wheel hop with the LSD than tire spin. Next time you get in your car, really try to make your wheels spin, its really not hard at all (for the SS at least)
im not really sure what you mean when you said it feels like you have traction control every time you shift?. its a very different clutch than any car that ive ever driven..maybe thats it

o......SS doesnt come with Enhanced Traction System................mine did come with it and whenever i lose traction on the road.......i have hear the engine lowering power and the gear shifting to try to regain traction............and i think its available for automatic only.....

SS doesn't have traction control. All others have it, as long as the car has ABS. If it doesn't have ABS, it doesn't have traction either.

Werd. And you'll see the little light on the cluster telling you it's off.
