Trade.. or not to trade.. that is the question
Trade.. or not to trade.. that is the question
So I'm looking at this 2009 Black SS Sedan that's not too far away from me. I always wanted an SS sedan but couldn't find one near by so settled for a Coupe.
So my question is, I'm thinking of trading my 2010 Coupe with 28000 miles for this 2009 Sedan with 32000 miles.
Here are some pics:

i was in your shoes but it was a little different. i had an LS coupe and traded it in on a pick up truck and then got rid of the pick up truck for a SS/TC coupe..until the day i went to the dealership to test drive the coupe and they rolled the SS/TC sedan off the car hauler. drove the sedan home the next day.
you can swap all of your aftermarket stuff over to the sedan too.
the 2 extra doors are nice. if a sedan is what you want then i would say go for it! its all what you want. and if its unmolested then id say go for it.
if your not loosing money then i would say do it. i love my sedan and didnt think twice about buying it.

If you need the 2 doors, you're not losing money and both cars have the same options, go for it.
I have a ls coupe and would trade it for a ls sedan in a heartbeat. I didn't want 4 doors when I was 19, but now I want the extra 2 doors.

Not sure if it'll be straight trade or not. I don't see why not considering mines a year younger and has less miles on it. The only thing I'll be losing is RPD. I still got all my stock parts to throw back on for the trade. It's 2 hours away so I'm trying to make up my mind today to go test drive it tomorrow and if I like it then proceed with the trade.
I just went from a coupe to a sedan and I have to say, I love it! The extra room in the back is also really nice and if you're in search for a sedan and have been for awhile I'd say get one.
I would. If I eventually upgrade to a turbo cobalt (this would be if financially I could not afford an STI) then I would get the sedan, for practical reasons alone, but I also think they are mad sexy.
well considering the fact that mines low mile 2010, I don't think I'll be losing any money per say, just losing bit in value, thats even if I ever find a sedan anywhere near me.
they will offer you about 3000 less in trade in on what its worth. You will lose your butt on the trade it. Selling outright is the only smart thing to do when getting rid of a car. Trade ins are pure stupidity, its not opinion, its fact. They will never give you the value of your car and if they do they jack up the car you are buying to make back the money they put on your car. Its all exciting until they have you infront of the finance guy (the guy they hired to get as much out of you as possible).
