trade in value

according to kelly blue book, my base cobalt sedan's trade in value is $9,600. is that bad? its not really my problem because its a lease, but it seems like my car depreciated so fast in the 3 months that ive had it......by the way, it has 12,000 miles on it. also, the car has the following options: cruise control, power locks/keyless entry, automatic trans, abs, uplevel radio, rear spoiler

my car will have been through 4 engines, 6 clutches a blower and 18 sets of tires before it's traded in, so i could care less about my trade in value lol

Well the Sedans came out first so maybe the coupes and the SS/SC will be in KBB in a few months.

Ok can someone explain to me why I would buy a 2 year old RSX-S with 20k for 21,640 when I can buy new 2006 RSX-S that costs 23,800 MSRP

half the warrenty is gone. I see them for sale on autotrader for 21,640 so I believe that people think thats the trade in, but I just don't understand it.

And if you got yours for 22k DC52NV why would anyone pay you 22k for it now.

Either I am missing something or people who buy used acura's are stupid

i'm not here saying that they will buy my car for $22,000. i'm not even selling my car.

all i did was look up the value to my car man. i'm not planning to sell my baby.

for the record, no it doesn't make sense to buy a used rsx-s for $22,000 when you can buy a brand new one for $2,000 more. i'm just going off on what kbb says. no one in their right mind would buy a used one for that much. is there a glitch or something on their website for the rsx? seems way too high of a price.
