Trailer Hitch on the SS

Does anyone have a trailer hitch on their SS model? No flaming.

Serious question though. The stealership is trying to rape me into a truck. I said eff that and bought a trailer hitch and a single rail trailer that weighs like 260 lbs. Soooo mx bike + trailer only weighs like 500 lbs. Thats like having 4 people in the balt. Not too bad i guess.

i saw a GM Cobalt SS test car with a hitch on it, it can be done, but they cut a square hole in the rear skirt

Do not tow anything with the 2.0L or 2.4L.. So be careful if you do choose to

i've got a 1 1/4 inch hidden hitch on my SS/SC, i dont haul a trailer or anything though just a bikerack for a couple 40-50 pound bikes, you do have enough clearance to haul a very small trailer without notching your bumper, if you are CAREFUL it does sit quite low and i wouldn't wanna haul it on anything but smooth pavement, my rack will bottom itself out if i enter very steep entrances or exits....

it's definately not *ideal* for a trailer, but it can pull a small one

Tow man tow to your hearts content but don't come crying back cause the 3 tons of concrete blocks just would'nt tow, or something .. owners manual
