Any cold drink will make a tranny cooler, but that doesn't mean (s)he will sleep with you...

Technical assistance has advised me that 2006 automatic Cobalts do have a transmission cooler in the radiator.

Thanks,

Pretty much any late model automatic transmission car has a transmission cooler these days.

We have a large product line-up and I’m not familiar with the specific mechanics of each vehicle. However, I do have the resources to answer questions regarding these vehicles. So in the future if you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me.

notice how her name says customer service, not master tech, or cobalt service manual. not one mechanic in the world has everything stored in their head. most common things yes, but most things come from service manuals and spec the manufacturer puts out.

and to further that, she is CUSTOMER SERVICE not a tech. but she is here to help and can help just pm her

Its not advisable to add an aftermarket external trans coolers to our automatics.

And as has been said yes theres a trans cooler built into the radiator (cant think of an automatic car where this isnt the case)
