tune vs B&M shift plus

tune vs B&M shift plus

So ive had my B&M working great for maybe 6 months now and Im already HP tuned. When I had the tune done I didn't have the shift points changed because I have my kids in the car a lot and didn't want full time jerky shifts. I have a couple questions regarding the two of these a little down the line.

Ive seen people say, once you get tuned youll never go back to the shift plus. What exactly is better about having the trans tuned?

And to the people that have them, can I run stage 2 247 all the time? ive had in on for about 2 weeks now and I don't like how it shudders going into gear and shifting 1-2 it jerks the whole damn car! Love chirping the 1-2 shift though!! Just want to make sure its safe.


I have a po420 code with my zzp midlength and I need to remove my torque limiter, so a retune is in order shortly, just need to know if I should scrap the shift plus?

my trans is tuned and doesn't jerk me....well now going from 2->3rd it does cuz it was stiffened up when i went e85 but before that there was really no jerking
