Turbo Tech Racing Solid Engine Mounts - RELEASE

Well it is official, the first ever, complete replacement; upper engine mount has been finished. This is a solid engine mount, which will replace the complete OEM one.

Install time takes around 15 Min. It has been tested on the 2.0 SS SC, however it should fit all engines and years. We will post pictures and more details soon.

A little about the mount:

Base is laser cut and formed, from thick 1/4" steel, which is powder coated to you specifications.

Then you choose the bushing color of Red, Black, or Blue.

Finally, the upper support (bolts to the engine) is CNC machined from 6061 T6 Air-Craft grade Aluminum. The upper support, can be powder coated, OR hand polished and powder coated with a clear coat to keep an ever lasting shine (additional charge to hand polish.)

Vibs, are about the same as the Ingalls, which is minimal. The test car showed no sign of wheel hop at all.

We will be posting pictures very soon of this product installed, everyone is in for a real treat

So this keeps the vibes down and doesnt vibrate nearly as much as ZZP's upper mount?

They are normally $169.99 + ship. However we plan on doing an intro price of $149.99 + ship.

We have not seen or tested the ZZP so we cannot compare.

Took us about 10 minutes to install, average would be 15 minutes to install. We will get up pictures very soon of the proto-type. We can have these shipping in about 1-1.5 weeks once ordered. They are painted and assembled to order as we build them to YOUR specs (color choices).

Here are some pictures of the proto type installed. It is a Powder Coat high gloss black base, a black poly bushing (engraved with "Turbo Tech Racing"), the 6061 T6 upper aluminum CNC part is in its natural state; this can be hand polished, OR powder coated any color.

Onto the pics:

We will soon get some pics of the Black base, black bushing, and hand polished aluminum upper support; outside the car, the solid engine mount by its self.

very interesting indeed... how does one go about installing engine mounts? It's not something I've done.

if you're just dong one... it's not bad. at worst you need a jack and a block of wood to hold or lift the engine while you bolt, but often times, that's not even needed.
