I know my wife has a Code Alarm two way alarm with remote start, it has a turbo timer option on the remote. However considering that our car is manual it may not be legal for shops to install it.

since u have a 2.2 u should prob use one of perfect powers smt 7/8 products,

they allow u to change the boost on the fly and it will automatic change loaded tables accordingly.

and i think the 8 has full turbo timer capabilitys

It keeps the car running at idle so it can cool the turbo down after driving. It shuts off after 5 minutes I believe.

My buddy has one on his LS. Has a hahn turbo.
Can set it for 30secs, 1min, 2min, or 5min. I'll try to get more info from him tomorrow.

Not too smart when it comes to cars.. but i believe it keeps the oil running through the turbo, so you just dont shut if off and have everything seize up.

a little off topic, but why does your sig say what it says? you weren't even here a year and a half ago. Hack may be wrong, but its not really your business.

Carry on.

a turbo timer allow you to just keep the oil to ur turbo running a bit after the car turns off. this is a safety feature to no **** up ur turbo by cold stops.
