I was driving down a country road when two deer darted onto the road and into the drivers side of my car. 6:18pm 3/1/07

 

those must have been some crazy stupid deer to run into the side of your car but they have tunnel vision so they only see clear road before you get in the way. All bets are off that will be a $1000 fixer although it looks like paintless dent removal FTW can fix that as well.

 

There is a scratch that is to the metal 8" to 12" long

 

You can't even tell. Looks like mud to me but it could be the camera. Good luck getting it fixed man, I know it sucks. I got to take out a dime size tiny dent from someone opening there door into my car.
