Question Universal Exhaust

Ok so i have decided to go with a fart can. Im looking to buy one off of ebay, but im not quite sure what size exhaust inlet i should buy. I tried to measure and it looked like it was 2'' but i cant find any 2'' inlets there all 2.5'' or 3''.

Also when they install the the new muffler do they completely cut the old one off or do they install the new universal muffler right in front of the stock muffler?

Im asking this because most of the universal mufflers out there are all around 18 inches and if u cut the stock muffler off it is about 30+ inches to the back end, so does the muffler shop add to the exhaust pipe?

Just save up and buy the exhaust. Every time somebody buys a fart can God kills a baby kitten.

I thought the inlet was 2.25" and I beeive they make stepdown/stepup pipes... so if it's the wrong size, the muffler shop SHOULD have way to weld it on still...

and $80 for a fart can is a lot...

I have another question as well. What do the muffler shops do as far as hangers? Do i need to provide them a hanger so my fart can doesn't look like its wagging its tail when i go over bumps?

anyone know?

$250 total. Easy as hell to install yourself, you'll notice performance gains, doesn't sound like crap, and you won't see me shaking my head as you drive by.

Save up. You don't have to do everything right away. Wait a month or two then go for it.
