Upgrading my 05 base to a 07 SS

My first Post... woohoo

I currently have a 2.2 cobalt base, with a injen Intake.
I been very busy at work and was promoted so I have been looking at the new 2.4 ss cobalt, with the hhr motor in it.

I'm gonna keep the thing stock, I am dishing money into a Top End SS with out SC.
I was hocked when i tested a SS a few days ago. It felt a lot different than the base.
Oh l love off ramps!

My dad works at a Chevy dealer in my hometown where i can receive a discount.

I ordered a custom cobalt ss
Sunroof
Audio six disc changer
heated Leather
remote start, keyless entry

My question is, how come no dealers stock these things. And how long do these orders take from experience...

Thanks Peoples

I had to order mine, as it wasnt very common to have an LT with only the pioneer stero option (no leather, no sunroof, no xm, nothing) and a 5 speed. Took me 4 weeks to get it.

Plan on 2-3 months lead time on a custom order, could be a lot less, could be a tad more time
