AEM Uego Install Ideas

I need some ideas on where I should install this thing. I just got it and have no place to put it. I am left with making another gauge pod. I will have the factory boost gauge on the pillar, 2 interceptors in the gauge bezel, and need one more place where a gauge can be placed and maintain a somewhat "factory" look. Any ideas?

If you're looking to maintain a factory look, the closest you'll come to that is having it not seen at all. My suggestion is to put it in the small pullout door where the trunk release is located.

Just take out your factory boost gauge and display the boost on one of your interceptors. I think it would look good.

Does anyone know if the uego will fit on the pillar. My guess is it will be too deep.

try this maybe

heres an idea thrown out there. try it like the ion redline and get it mounted in the center or do a little modding and use the area in between the radio and the a/c controls.

It doesn't fit perfect, but it fits. To get it perfect you just have to trim the plastic where the stock boost gauge would rest so the bolts on the UEGO will pass it. Shouldn't affect re-inserting the stock boost gauge. The AEM fits snug enough to not need to be bolted down when pressed in.

PS this is where my gauge is now until the copies of your pod are available!!

You should get a 2 gauge a-pillar pod, i think cobalt-addiction sells them. Then put the AEM piece in there.

Thanks for the idea. I think I might install the boost gauge in the change compartment and install the uego on the stock pillar pod. If i ever choose to do a dualpod on the pillar, I'd rather make it than buy from CA. Not a big fan of their company. Thanks
