useless when it comes to cars
useless when it comes to cars
So I am wanting to buy an ss because I am tired of my old ls sedan being slower then my minivan. I want to stay in the cobalt community and get an SS/TC but my problem is that I dont know anything about cars at all. Is this going to be a big problem for me? It seems like most peoplee on here are very knowledgable about their cars and I am far that. I know it depends on the car but am I going to be running into a lot of problems that I can not fix on my own and not be worth buying the car?

Honestly man just start reading up around the forum in the TC section. You will start to learn alot. Honestly if you keep the car stock with mild bolt ons you shouldnt need to worry about too much. The only time you need to know a ton is when you start modding heavy. That when you want to know how to diagnose problems that will occur
hey hey, i went from a cobalt to another cobalt. I love these little cars for some god awful reason even though they are full of little quirks xD
and to op, like everyone else said, if your willing to learn you'll be fine. Personally I know cars and how to work on them, but my TC is my first F/I car so its kinda like learning all over again

also went from an LT to an SS.......... bang for the buck on these cars is hard to turn down for the money... the shitty interior isnt hard to, but whatev's I'll deal with it haha
Give good advise? A cobalt is a fun car to have, there is no need to knock it. But I forgot you drive a c6 now so ur a badass GTFO...and before you say I know nothing, I own a fully built c5 so I know how much fun a Vette is, but still love my Cobalt

No he drives a slow c5 not a c6
******* newb take a look at my sig
I honestly could care less as to what your Cobalt's would do. This entire topic has nothing to do with that haha. The kid is asking if you have to be mechanically inclined to have a SS/TC and you come in saying if he gets a Cobalt he might as well kill himself, you my friend are an idiot
