vibrant exhaust ???????????????

I'm looking at getting an aftermarket exhaust for my 05 cobalt ss and am looking at the vibrant. Seems to be made from the same stuff as the borla. Anyone have any experience with this exhaust???

yeah, i loved mine, and coupled with 272 cams, it wad crazy. Right now i'm running no cat, and a custom 2.75" dual exhaust, and its just as loud as the vibrant setup was with a cat!

If you are interested in the vibrant system, and *if you would* find it cheaper somewhere else, send me a PM and I can see if we can do better.

glad i found this thread!

Sorry for bumping something so old... I am planning on buying this exhaust next week once I get paid. I'm going to get this exhaust: Vibrant StreetPower Exhaust Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged (05-08) 1627 and these headers as a combo: Vibrant Race Header Chevy Cobalt SS/SC [4-2-1] (05-08) 2536

does anyone have any sound clips of this exhaust, specifically with the header? I know the exhaust is loud, but how does it change with the header?

is this combo a direct bolt on?

any regrets?

if anyone has a used one for sale, please let me know, I will definitely consider it as long as it's not damaged.

Also, has anyone been able to make it quieter? Maybe adding an inline muffler?

thanks!

You bumped a 2+ year old thread...

Ask the company you linked above for help... Oh... They wont help you, as you went on price and they dont have a clue on this system. Heck do you even know who that company is? Very well could be a scam website, but if you have money to throw away, go for it.

Well it's very loud, got a bud in town that used to have it, he actually got pulled over once and the cop asked him to take it off because it was too loud, but it does sound very nice! Hope that helps your decision.

Ttr then you should price match it. You said in this thread If you find it cheaper then let you know. Also whats wrong with bumping old threads? If you make a new one people bitch saying "use the search button".

Also hahn has a sale on their exhaust, i highly would look into that. I bought an header a year ago from ttr and didn't come with everything that should of been with it.

The Vibrant catalytic is not reliable. I have burned out my second converter and will not be getting another. Especially since they wont sell you the cat pipe without buying the header. The car lost power and sounded like a giant vacuum cleaner when accelerating. Boost would not go over 10 which is low with the 2.8 pulley. Car also threw a P0300. I removed the pipe and the cat core was loose and plugged up the pipe.
