how much would that affect the trade in value anyone know? it was fixed with all stock parts ect and by a gm dealer
it would depend on the severity of the damage. ie.. if the title has a reconditioned title. and how good it was fixed. Basiclly I look for is paint lines. Lift up the hood and feel the inside of the 1/4 panel if it feels rough then they left tape lines on it and an appraiser can tell right off that it has been repainted

yea if the paint job was done right no orange peel and no tape lines then they probably wont even check car fax. unless that is something that they do on all trade ins while they are appraising it.
