vinyl eyelid test fit: stage 1
well me and matt (ort) got together tonight and test fitted a template i have for balt eyelids. This is stage 1 of the eyelid production, just wanted to get a feel for what it would look like and what adjustments needed to be made. Looks ok but alot of room for improvement so im going to tear off these and put on a set modded so you cant see light when you open the hood, creates more of a lip if you will. comments?

holy crap batman....you need some soapy water, a towel and a heat gun. i make eyelids out of vinyl for my friends company and they fit perfect every time, just takes some patience and the listed supplies...and btw, is that a template that i gave you, i gave one to somebody on here. i rendered the template by taking some masking paper and sticking it to the light, then rubbing a crayon around the edges to define where they were, then i took it into photoshop and drew the lines. this worked, except it didnt allow for the complex curve of the light. with some tweaking i got it to fit, and we use a high grade pvc material that keeps most of the light from showing under the piece. let me know if i can help you in any way with this, the mods on here get pissed (for good reason) when i mention that i sell these things and if someone could get this into the market that would be great....i am aparently never going to make ne money on it. i would love to be a supporting vendor but it costs WAY TOO MUCH!!!!!
there is my 25 cents, good luck!!!
