Water Temp
Water Temp
Well im clueless right now, im looking for a 1/8" to M12 x 1.75 adapter for my water temp and oil temp gauges, the ATM-2278 is jsut for pressure and the adapter isnt long enough to screw in the temp sender. Anyone know where i can get one? if not if someone could get a pic of the upper raidar hose and how to properly install a water temp gauge would be awesome. sorry about my english
a bit tired now
According to Autometer's website, it can be used for either pressure or temperature. You should screw the 2278 adapter into the head and then the sending unit into the adapter.

does not work, ill take a pic as well, my c2 sender is just too long and wont even reach the threads of the adapter when inserted. see pic below
......after i upload it

^^ Thats as far as the sender goes into the adapter. The sender is from the autometer shortsweep c2 water temp series. i may just drill the hole out bigger for the sender to go father down in the adapter if there is no other solution
wow..........

Where exactly do I hook up the water temp sender to, I have some Cobalt gauges on the way and not sure where to install at? If someone could please help or just post a simple pic of where I would greatly appriciate it.
That's what I figured, but do you just cut a hole in the hose and put a nut on the back of the fitting inside the hose or are you going to get a steel fitting and cut into that to save the stock hose?
