Are waterspots a problem??

Got my SS/SC about a week ago and am going to get her detailed within a weeks time. Its parked in my garage, and today I noticed that there are quite and amount of waterspots around her. I've heard of damage caused by waterspots and how it can mess up the paint. Should I be worried or should I just wait and get it detailed? Also, would waxing help?

in my opinion my firend detail the car yourself... the car is yourwoman... and you dont want guys touching your girl do ya? well same goes for the car. hand wash it. and yes wax it. also i recomend that you invest in Zaino.. i got 5-6 layers of it on my SS. water just beads right off of it! its a beautiful finish aswell! ill post some pics tomorrow... im tired. if u got anymore questions on Zaino just pm me. be prepared for a full days work though... but its worth it!

yep... i wash and wax the poop outa my car... and still, water seems to run endlessly out of the back window down the sides, and out the spoiler.... its really annoying... just get a spray wax, and go over it again, heard that helps

That's when you use an air compressor, and spray the water out of all the nooks and crannies around your car. Whoala! Problenm solved

Wax it and use a car towel to dry it off.

Waterspots are no big deal on wax.

Water spots aren't bad for your paint if they are on top of a coat of wax. They just look like ****!
