Thats pretty close to what I recall it weighing. No need to make it a heavy piece of steel when folded steel has the same strength properties.

I'm updating this. Or adding to it rather. Maybe a mod can add this to my original post?

Pass airbag 7.5
Fender(each) 5.2
Rear belts(all) 6.3
Rear headrests(both) 3.1
Armrest with bolts 5.5
Rear seat bottom 9.0
Curtain airbags (both) 7.0
Headlight assembly with bucket and bolts(each) 7.5

So making carbon fenders is pointless. You'd save maybe 2lbs per side. You'd be better off trying to half the headlight weight.
