Carmax offers what they would pay at wholesale.

It's just not gonna be close to what you would get even at a dealership let alone private party.

Imports aren't all much better. I traded my 05 Scion tC Supercharged with 73k miles and only got $7,300. They rated it excellent on everything. The Chevy dealer ended up matching Carmax which was up from the $5,500 and $6,000 at 2 Chevy dealers.

 

I barely have time to think these days. let alone try to strip and sell my car.

 

holy cow.. mines a 07 and i have 28,320 <just hit that yesterday.. and i only drove to class and work today
