that post is grossly wrong, never offered 17" rims.

this goes right along with some people citing that you could order an SS/SC with 17" rims.

odds are the salesman was citing accessories as option - not knowing that most 17" rims don't clear the brembos.

If you would have looked in the sales literature, you would have seen the options list with a bunch of "S" in the SS's column.

 

^ lol come to think of it, i think i question him on that.. needless to say i didn't buy my car from that dealer..
