What do you all pay a month?
06 Cobalt SS/SC - 205 a month @ 6% for 72 months.
10 Jeep Patriot 4x4- 349 a month 6% for 72 months
insurance for both - 600 every 6 months.
I'm also married, with a child and a house.
Looking at this makes me feel bad for the guys paying upwards of 480 to 500 just for the Cobalt. Then I remember when I was young & single, fresh out of Highschool with a DUI on my record... I was paying 450 a month @ 14% for 72 months on a Jeep wrangler... insurance was 480 a month.
Oddly cars get cheeper as you get older and establish your credit... also marry a woman who's smarter then you with money... helps out a lot

why would you finance 8000 for 5 years? thats a 2 year payoff with paying much less in interest. low payments arent what you should focus on. low total payoff is what you should worry about.
So, after looking through this thread, I have come to the conclusion that I overpaid for my 2010 SS/TC greatly and did not get any gap or extended warranty.
FML. The only thing I got was 0% financing for 60 months.
Meh, I got rapped...
$371 - 72 m - 13ish apr
Im paying it off early and giving them 430 a month...
edit: First car financed... few credit cards before hand and as we all know the banks stiffend up quite a bit... just bought it in october so...
edit... oh and nothing down
