I weighed my stock one with spoiler, no latch or third brake light, and probably 2sqft of dynamat extreme at 30lbs. The carbon trunk was 12lbs with the latch, all bolts, and the third brake light. I'll take it lol. Word of advice, you will probably have to enlarge the hole for the key cylinder. Mine was waaaaaaaaaay too small.

BTW I'm done with the install. Fits fantastic. Waiting for near sunset before any pics so lighting will be decent.

I wish it was worth it to put mine on now. Probably going to have to wait until the car is ready to fire. No point in putting it on just yo take it off again

Thanks guys. Couldn't turn down owning one of the last Carbon Creations trunks made for the G5. Especially not for $300ish. Now if only the hoods could go on clearance. I really do need tires and an alignment though, and I'd like to get some 15" sub-10lb RPF1s and some 17lb tires.

Just finished having 3M Anthracite carbon fiber wrap done to my hood to hide a bunch of tiny rock chips. Looks really good in person.

Yeah my hood has an assload of rock chips. Plus some ****** pushed a cart into my front bumper, another keyed my rear bumper, and there are dents galore. I figure I'll get it fixed eventually lol

Lol nope. Couldn't justify that much. I could for new wheels and tires though. Especially RPF1s. On a side note I'm putting my SC build on hold for now. I was told my car smokes a little, which I saw on my exhaust vid at 6000rpm+ so I think I'll play it safe and save for pistons/rods so maybe I can throw either meth or nitrous at it too.

Well shipping was close to $70. Still $368 to my door isn't bad compared to the $700+ some people want. Couldn't afford 2 of them unless I wanted to forfeit driving to Abilene to watch Jurassic World with my little brother when it comes out in a couple weeks.
