Well they make your car shake like a ************. That's for certain. But they also allow a better transfer of power to the wheels. Think of it this way, which would you rather stir mashed potatoes with? A foam spoon or a metal one?

If you torque them in the correct sequence they give little to no more vibrations(at least in my experience)

They slightly reposition your axles to be straight, it really helps getting power to the wheels. I'll tell you it was a night and day difference once I installed mine.

They are identical if you look at them. The rear mount is taller I believe and it then rotates not much but it rotates, if you go to ottp they sell the spacer for the stg one mounts

Here, I followed this write-up. I get a slight vibration if I'm in a low low low rpm(like below 2k in second) but driving its buttery smooth

I don't believe autos had the same issue though.

The actual mount is shaped differently. If I recall the rear mount is the problem, Powell sells a spacer to solve it or the whole mount itself if you want the stiffer bushings. I bout the stage 3 set from Ottp, same principle except it came with the upper trans mount as well. My stock one was pretty bad as is but I believe rice had a newish stock to compare it with and ottp's was a definite upgrade compared to stock. I'll see if I can find that thread...

Upper trans mount comparison here :

The rear mount is lifted which in turn locates the front mount down aka rotation.

Nothing actually rotates in the mounts.

S1 has a spacer that's placed under your stock rear trans mount, and comes with a new front mount w/ stiffer bushing.

S2 has the spacer built into a new rear mount, and comes with the same front mount as in S1.

As Powell explained it to me, the rotated mounts are designed "to lift the motor at the rear, lower the position of the motor at the front, and allow the torque axis upper mounts to reposition."
Note that some vendors (like ZZP) call their mounts rotated when they are not. The only true rotated mounts I'm aware of are the original Powell ones and one other one that's a knock-off of Powell's (OTTP).

You don't have to go thru so much work go to ottp they sell it for like 15 bucks plus shipping and your set. You could even use it under your stock mounts without the vibes

Found it it's actually 12.50 plus shipping atm
