Well I had a smidge of epoxy left so I decided to start a long-term experiment today. I put a *super* light coat of epoxy over my mirror that was originally black and has obviously faded to gray. Looks good so far. We'll see if it can hold up to a summer of 105* and tons of car washes. Please forgive my filthy car.

Adjusted my shifter cables. I had once set of cables go bad a few years back so I was used to living with a bad shifts and the settings I used after the replacement were better than before so I lived with it.

Anyway Brother borrowed my car complained about it and I realized it should shift way better than it did. So I moved it just a tiny bit to the right and it shifts worlds better. Feels brand new.

It used to catch an edge on the right while shifting to 5th and wouldn't always go in if I'd shift from 3-5 skipping 4th.

It's tempting. Sell all my SC stuff and put the steelies and a spare dash trim back on. Sell my RPF1s to someone with a honda. I'd offer maybe $10k and hopefully get close to a $3-4k down payment.
