You are getting old.
Honestly I'm not into loud cars driving around anymore. Open headers on a big cam v8, oh yeah but drone driving daily, no. You should have installed that mpx muffler you had, love the tone of mine with resonator.

Went back to my 93 tune today from e47 for winter. Will get my all seasons out on this week in case I need to drive it over the winter if there is an emergency. Honestly I would rent a car first than get it in the salt. Summer tires aren't supposed to see 32 degrees.

Well its 3" dp with a muffler delete now. If its to raspy or loud it will go back in and get a glasspack resonator. Wont know until tomorrow when I pick it up.

EDIT: its really quiet about as loud as it was with the stock dp and muffler delete but it has a real nice deep tone to it. Really not sure if I like it or not.

Removed these 2 bolts I tried to torque to 71 FOOT LBS photo935.jpgphoto287.jpg
Heads up for anyone reading this...your vc bolts should either just be slightly tight with a wrench or tightened to 71 INCH LBS or 8 FOOT LBS

Today we put a phenolic spacer, dual pass and option B in Sally. My friend also decided he was going to paint the blower and intake. I think it came out pretty well.

Royce- I have my factory catback setup in the attic but I think it's in 2-3 pieces. Got frustrated pulling it for my mpx exhaust and cut it before and maybe behind the axel.

I am worried about all that scuffing. I wonder if the shitty shade-tree mechanic my buddy used to replace the headgasket decided to scratch the **** out of the block deck. Might be why the had gasket wasn't sealing.

I think next spring I'm going to try to sell the SS and this and try to get a 16/17 Golf R.

Found some lnf wheels on the cheap that were banged up. Spray painted them white and slapped them on. It'll do until I either powdercoat these or get something better.

Finally tackled the ccfl interters. The previous owner didn't do me and favors and left me with a huge messy wad of wires.

The old inverters were tied in to the parking lights, as are the LEDs.

Instead, I mounted a switch next to the handbrake so I can run the independent of any factory lighting.

Took 2 hours, but I'' particular about my wiring. More pics to come
