Got a letter in the mail from GM/Chevy about a possible recall for fuel pump lines cracking and leaking fuel/fumes. Anyone else get this?

yeah, switch would be the easiest, but i dont want to have to mount it anywhere, want it all behind the dash.

know which pin, where to move it?
i heard about moving a pin, but no details were found.

yup, got that a while ago, sent to hotter regions first. iirc it was more intended for 05-06

Mines an 06. No signs of leaks, and I don't smell any gas. Fingers crossed. I also live in Wisconsin. So I don't have to worry about it being super hot all the time.

So one should not travel to a hot region in case their fuel lines might leak,
that's just so stupid. The recall should be on all of the cars in that year.

lol, traveling to a hot place would be fine

the car spending 99% of its life in the heat(tx, az, ca to name a few) are more what they sent it to first, i believe they will eventually send it to everyone

Last Summer I spent 6 weeks on vacation up in the Williams lake area where it go up to 34 C, so is there a time limit of how long to be in hot weather.

Buff and wax job! And polished the head and supercharger! Put my car on jack stands so I wouldn't break my back on the bottom haha. Looks amazing though.

Muffler delete. I'm blown away at how good the car sounds. I've never heard a delete make a car sound so good.

*if* I can manage to get the cold side charge pipe back on again and get the car running this morning, then this weekend's list is this.

Wash/wax
Intake
Ported and Polished throttle body
Phenolic spacers between IM and TB, and between IM and head.
Data logging
Updated Term2 tune
Data logging
Rear Konis
Figure out why right side headlight went out. Not sure if it's the bulb or the ballast. Both are over 2 years old.

Today: installed new LED 3rd brake light and armrest.

I have an extra complete armrest by the way if anybody is interested lol
