Hoping somebody else had them cheaper, but they seem to be the only option right now.

well lets see..

went to Great Lakes Dragway saturday.. ran a 13.5 @ 107 while on my conservative 91 octane tune (was happy with that). Second gear held fantastic

then decided to up the anty and tune for E47 today. went to GLD again and couldnt beat my previous time due to traction issues. I was spinning the early parts of second gear and my 60' times got worse. Time to practice, practice, practice

Well it doesn't feel any different from the Dejon intake I had but the previous owner to LNF rig the intake and the coupler that connected to the turbo was coming off :/ But the KN does make the car sound deeper, even better if you get a Forge BPV with it

dropped it off at the GM service department. The P0301 came back again after all the coils and plugs have been replaced... Good thing it's under warranty and the ticket is still open (made sure of that, the light came on before I left the dealer).

Update: the dealer double-checked the ignition system and fuel system, and - no surprise - they checked out fine. but after the commotion (and phone calls to their service manager and threat to call service director), they're not giving up until they fix whatever is causing the misfire. They are removing the valve cover to inspect it tomorrow, if they don't find anything - they send the head to the shop. If those guys won't find anything wrong with it - they're taking apart the rest of the motor.

And in the meantime I'm driving one of their courtesy loaners - a 2013 Silverado LT, crew cab...

Spent the morning in the shop with my best mechanic and John Powell on the phone. Found and fixed all the problems. Car runs great now. Just waiting a new tune file from Term2 and then it's ready for race day on Friday.

And incidentally, John's drain back system works awesome. Does exactly as it is supposed to.

Wasn't today, but did a muffler delete. Here are some videos of how it sounds, 1 from outside and 1 from inside. Crappy phone helps a lot. =) Later this week I might get some video of what it sounds like under load.
