what octane gas do you use?

what octane gas do you use?

i tried using the search function to see if there was a thread for this but one didnt turn up. i am putting 91 in my ss/sc and thats prob what it needs but i wanted to check with the rest of you.

Always put premium in your SS/SC. Some of the guys and I were at a dyno day the other week and the wife of the owner of the shop had put a tank of 87 in his SS. His 'balt stock put down 211, with a stage 2 and 87 it put down 205.

Don't know yet because I'm still on my first tank but I'll use 91 octane (premium grade up here)

93 or better...Why buy a nice car and put **** for gas in it but thats only my opinion.

91 is the highest you commonly see where i live, if 93 is avalible around here i havent noticed it.

Actually E85 has many more advantages over gas especially when running high boost. I make more horsepower and torque on E85 compard to gas. I know many LS1 guys that are switching to E85 for the same exact reason.

I noticed when i went out west past texas, there was only 91 or below....the manual should say use 93 or higher for the ss/sc...but i had that question when i was traveling to NM and i couldnt find any 93 or higher
