If youre in high school and your parents gave u 50k strickly for a car/truck. would u buy a 50k car/truck or buy a cheaper car and upgrade??

I would buy a daily driver and then invest in some good old american muscle to have for a project car.

 

I'd get a 20k car and keep the other 30k personally...*cough* spoiled ass brat *cough*

 

Id like to be rich enough to know what its like to have such a problem decision to make

I would by a Cobalt and put the rest away.. just tell my parents the car cost 50K... if they can afford that much, they probably wouldn't care

 

hell in HS, i couldnt get 5 bucks from my parents. let alone 50k..

 

buy a 96-00 civic and put the rest into turbo kit or an integra and do the same. You can make like an ill 10 sec civic.

 

Smart Person would Put $ 30,000.00 in CD's Then Barrow against it! Use the other $20,000.00 to Make sure the payments are made on time over 3 years & when your done you affectively Paid yourself,Cause you still have the 30k & what ever you Bought, Plus well earned Credit & Low Interest rates! Plus the Money in the CD earn's you bac Interest!
My wife did this with her Purchase of Her SS/NA, The Nice thing is there is No Lien on her Title, She own's it! The Bank Lien's the 30k!
