What would you change?

If there was one thing about the Cobalt that you would change what would it be?

I would like it to be AWD because you would grip and go!!! No one wheel peel!!!

How about a RWD like the Solstice. You'd think it wouldn't be too expensive for GM to build one since they already have the powertrain/suspension worked out - just a little tweaking to the unibody.

Yeah, the mythical 2009 model 2.4l RWD Coby SS with turbo (complete with 9:1 forged pistons.) I guess I might as well ask for a rich, hot chick and free gas to go along with it since I'm dreaming.

Or I wish they would've just turbo'ed the 2.4. Plus a first gear that's not useless would be nice!

LSD standard. More lightweight options like radio delete, A/C delete, cloth seats instead of leather-only, manual windows and locks as options.

Three things would have made this car perfect in my mind.

1: LSD standard
2: Recaros standard
3: Stage 2 included stock

How about an ss/sc with a slick 5 speed auto tranny and paddle shifters?

A "no wing" option would be cool to go with the other weight saving options too.

a sixth gear would have been nice, I'll bet we could have gotten an extra 3-5mpg on the highway with one.

I would also like to see adjustable seat belts. I freaking hate these seatbelts!

It would have also been nice if they would have got the geometry of the engine and other things right so we wouldn't have feel hop and break axles.

Other then that I love the car.

Small opening sucks!
Tons of room, but you cant fit anything into it.

Seriously, Stage 2 should have come stock, and maybe something to help out the traction a bit.

Better quality plastics for the itnerior and those sunvisors are pretty flimsy, along with the ebrake handle. I'd also like to see an HID option, and an additional few colors including white. Maybe also some 18x8 wheels instead of this 7 inch wide crap.

2.4l shoulda been turboed, still available with auto and stick, comparable numbers to Stage 2 SS/SC (which should also be stock with recaros, no wing, no sunroof, strut bar, and hardened internals).
that way they could make the SS/SC a TRUE tuner car. yet everyone else that has the 2.4l could still rape ass like no man's business.
