What would you change?
power window option on an ls.
how about a rwd 3800 series 3 Supercharged engine? those run pretty good in the big boats they come in, i bet it would fit if it were RWD too... or an ls7 since none of this will happen anways

View from the rear.

I've got lots of room for all kinds of stuff now - and it saves weight too.
Direct injection on all engines

As others have said, LSD should be standard on all Cobalts - would be a nice help for those of us who have to deal with snow 6 months of the year, as well as those looking for more traction in the higher powered models. The second item I would like to see are Xenon lights standard - not for the coolness factor, but for the better lighting they provide.

Gotta be stage 2 stock, that would make this car much more competitive in its segment. The other stuff like lowering is not a factory kinda thing. AWD would be the **** though.
More competitve? I kind of thought that the SS/SC pretty much beat everything in its segment, in terms of performance that is. All complaints from the press are about the interior quality, nothing about performance. I assume you're including the STI and Evo in its segment (even though they aren't, hence the $5-$10K price difference), because those are really the only cars that outperform the Cobalt.
I would change the following:
1. Weak Internals
2. Weak Axles
3. Weak Transmission
4. Wheel Hop
5. Perhaps a 6th gear
6. LSD Stock
7. THAT CHEAP E-BRAKE!!!!
Stage 2 would be nice stock, but you all realize that this would put the car up a whole nother price range, right? And twincharging it stock...even higher......oh, and NO AUTO COBALT SS/SC, keeps the everyday person out of the cobalt ss/sc.

i agree with snake i think that the fact that the cobalt is ONLY manual makes the car a tuners dream in my opinion...i also would like if the cobalt was a rear wheel drive kinda a counter force against that deadly wheel hop...this car is just nice the way it is from the factory...and it is very well aftermarket supported and factory...nice lil car GM's got goin on
1) Leather seats that dont crease so much. The day after i got my car the bottom of my front seats are both creased and arent even flat anymore. Is that an issue only wit the colored inserts?
2) Ebrake that doesnt get scratched up on the sides and feel cheap. More importantly, no gap for things to fall inside when its all the way up.
3) Option for fog lights to come on automatically
4) No wheel hop
5) 6 speed with a more useful 1st gear. Is there a reason why GM made 1st gear terrible?
6) Direct injection
7) Rear sway bar like the one made by Progress
8) Better lookin spoiler

At 30K it better have a V8, or at the very least a V6.
i would like the sunroof button on the dash to the left of the steering wheel like in hondas. i dont like reaching up every damn time. and for the tilt steering to be a little more adjustable, not just an inch. i want the wheel lower.
