:: Whats Going On Here? ::
OK, now, maybe its just cuz i like the way it looks, or cuz i was looking at a possible 4x4 for next winter. But i happened upon the Suv i thought i would like to look into. During further inspection, its too much $$$ BUT!!!!!! With a good look at the inside, I looked at the front seats and Noticed THEY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE SS RECAROS!!!! I know GM helps make Izuzu WHATS GOING ON HERE??? They stopped making the thing in like 02 or sumin, i'll repost with the exact stats, and a pic in like 5 min, but WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ONE HERE>>????

companies share designs all the time, hell, I changed out a windshield in a Porsche Cayenne(the SUV)...Guess who made the whole windshield/cowl setup.........MERCEDES. Remeber to, Recaro isn't GM, Recaro is Recaro, which means if Isuzu pays Recaro to make seats, Recaro makes seats.

maybe the seat design is a base level design from Recaro, used in commercial applications, and also used for their more custom models for individual buyers. Where are you going with this?

Relax, I doubt Recaro even made the seat. I'm almost willing to bet money I don't have that it's a SIMILAR design. And trust me, the "elite" seats you're talking about are not going to come factory installed from GM, you're talking about seats ranging 5-10 grand per, and with two in the front, that's 10-20 grand right there..the damned car costs that much money, so ease out of it, accept it as a seat, and hell it isn't even a bad seat at that, and enjoy the car brother.

those seats are not even close to the recaros.. the bottom sections are completley different.
besides, you're driving a 22,000 dollar car, not a ferarri. if we're getting parts from the "used parts bin" then so be it.
as far as the evo seats looking a lot different, its cause they are.. recaro makes more than one type of seat.
