Snobird, I gotta ask, what part of Tennessee are you in. I used to live in Rhea County, north of Chattanooga and the red light situation was frickin crazy. No one went on red because you never knew...

I hate to say it but once i got out of the car and made sure the missus was ok and still breathing, I would've pounded the **** out that guy. Seriously. It sounds crass and rude, but here's your car that you worked hard for and haven't had that long and along comes some ******* in a ******* piece of **** minivan and POW! You and the missus are banged up, the car is gone and he stands there looking like nothing happened, not speaking english while they load what's left of your car on a flatbed. **** that.

Glad you guys are ok and that your replacement car is going to come through. Best wishes and again, as everyone has said, we're all glad you guys are ok. (even though its a week late... P)

Scott

Yea, full coverage really helped me out last year in my accident. It was great not having to pay anything. My bill from my Kidney stone was around 6 grand. I'd hate to see what my car accident bill would have been. I had almost a whole body catscan, and plenty of x-rays, the doctor even threw in a bedside ultrasound. He said it was so easy to find everything, cause he's used to having to find things on much larger (fatter) people.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I'm glad the insurance is coming thru for you. Dealing with insurance companies is a real pain.

Goes to show you. Air Bags save lives. I'm sure your injuries would have been worse the bags didn't deploy.

Glad u're ok.

wow you have an ignorant ass insurance company. Most insurance companies would prefer to total the car out than repair. Repairing will probably cost them more than the actual car. From the looks of that picture there will need to be engine work done also. I suspect you will be getting a new car. If not you might want to switch insurance after this.

yea its gieco they put it like this to methey repair bill is around 14,000 as of now adn could go higher if they were to write it off they would have to pay 18,656 so i guess they try to say 4,000 but my lawyer is really good and also even if that car got repaired i woulddnt put my wife back in that car yet alone myself

Glad your OK. My mom had a closed head injury back in 1991. They are tough to diagnose and prove medically. Get a lawyer that is experienced with closed head injuries or you might run into problems proving it in court. It is hard to detect on cat scans. Good luck.

My mom had real troubles proving it in court because it is hard to detect on ct scans. Watch how they handle this for you.

Snobird, Have your lawyer go after Geico with all he's got. Geico is the slowest paying of any insurance company around. My bike was stolen almost 4 months ago and they are just now closing up. Good Luck
