what are we talking here for vibration on the ingalls? what vibrates and how loud?

edit: also, will the "2.0 only" ingalls from TTR fit my 2.4? if not, where do i get one for my 2.4?

Upper engine mount, if you mean between that and the ITD. It doesn't cost much more, looks a hell of a lot better, and works much better.

Vibes will increase on either this or the ITD assuming it is adjusted to near max; however, vibes are not that intense (not nearly as much as lower mounts/bushings) and also die down as they break in. Highly recomended!

^that is what I run. Just remember with the bushings though, you will get alot more vibrations. They will slowly die down a little, but it will be a far cry from the stock ride at low rpms. Under normal driving it is not felt however. I love it myself, but some do not. Your call!

Definately at least get the upper mount, there is no excuse not too on that one.

Yeah I am in the middle of a battle with gm. I have installed poly mounts and at 7400 miles my transmission cracked, 50 miles later it cracked again.

thus far gm is refusing to cover it. anyone had theirs not covered?

it cracked twice after installing the mounts or it cracked only one time after installing the mounts? that's insane. I've not seen mine crack or leak in the past 12,500 miles of owning it. where did it crack this time? I'd take it somewhere else and have them take a look before they attempt to void your warranty.

I would like to add that you need to watch out for control arm bushings, I've heard Turbo Tech Racing has a better upgraded polyurethane version than the ones i bought bushings from JBP a year ago.

I'm buying whole new control arms to go back to stock due to the deterioration of my polyurethane control arm bushing over this past year. Right now i don't have severe wheel hop, but i still do have wheel hop with higher frequency of hopping (more like wheel skip) due to the bushing's play from being so worn. Part of the reason its not so severe is that i filled my trans mounts as well since the bushings started going to ****.

TTR said that it's on their list of things to produce, but that it isn't going to happen for some time. Right now, your only options are JBP and Intense. I'm not sure if the same company makes both or not, though...

I think i meant intense, excuse my misinformation, Intense said they used to use JBP til there were defects found with them, now they sell their own. I remember there was a large discount from Intense for people who had defective CABs earlier in 2007. It would be nice to have Turbo Tech Racing making some CABs, they're very trustworthy.

Powell Motorsports Control Arm Insterts I just wish someone could match Powell Motorsports for a cheaper price.

Tell me about it...

I was hoping that Aaron would be able to produce something sooner. At the rate it's taking him to finish up other projects, he probably won't have time for CAB's until the summer. I need to get CAB's in my car before the track opens up...

On another note, Springs may not change wheel hop, but how about dampers? Has anyone seen difference of wheel hop with a set of koni struts or any coilovers?

I'm sure using a set of Koni Adjustables soft up front, stiff out back could help. Koni dampers and prokit is the way I'm going when I need to replace the stock stuff...
