when are the 2008 cobalts coming out?

I'm looking to buy a Cobalt since my last car just completely broke down on me. But, I don't know if I should buy it now or wait for the 2008. If it's coming out in the next month or so, I'd rather wait, but if not, I'd rather just buy now. Anybody works for GM that would know that answer?

For 2008 top of the line would be the RS, or Regular Sport. With the 2.4l VVT I4.

If you want a SS Supercharged or the 2.4l with SS labeling, you have to get a 2007 model.

Usually dealers start taking orders the end of July, and the car gets to dealerships by mid-august. That's when I got mine. You'll see them actually start appearing on dealer lots around September/October.

well i'm considering a fully loaded LT or a basic SS (If I buy a 2007, otherwise a Sport, or RS or Sport Coupe or whatever they decide to call it) So, a fully loaded LT, including sunroof and leather or a basic SS?

Well, I think the fully-loaded LT is called the LTZ - right? Those are pretty nice if you are happy with the 2.2L powerplant. If you want the 2.4L that's also in the base Solstace - it's a good little engine - go for the SS/RS

When I bought mine about a week ago they told me chevy isnt making the cobalt for 08.
Something about them building them in two different buildings instead of on the assembly line. Anywho, from what I understand this is the last year for cobalt for a while.
