Who is it?!?
I have an orange SS/SC car in my shop right now with a blowed up clutch and only 5000 miles on it. Owner lives in Elkridge or Hanover area and bought the car from Win Kelly Chevy.
They know you race it and they're debating if any of the damage is warrenty work or if your gonna pay for it. Just thought you'd like a heads up if you didn't know.
BTW your clutch looks like you tried to pull an 18 wheeler up a hill! Dear God what did you do to this poor car? The mechanic is 100% convinced that you leave every single red light like your John Force.

well it is a tricky clutch (IMO) I've owned quite a few manual cars... and this was the strangest one to get used to.. but my clutch still looks almost new at 14,900 miles... but most people I see ride the **** out of them and burn em up real quick
*knock on wood* this is my first stick car, its got over 33,000 miles on it, has well over 60 passes at the drag strip on it, and is fine from what i can tell *knock on wood* IMO people are morons driving these cars at the track because they most likely hotlap the bitches and dont allow adequate cooling time for the clutch. when i go i try and wait at least 45 minutes between runs, do not powershift

You had me scared to death. Mine is in at a dealer right now for a messed up clutch / transmission. I too am hoping for the warranty to come through. Good thing you aren't where I live, mine is Orange SS/SC w/ stage 2

Yeah, I think it is going to be ok. We will see though. In order to grease the wheels subconsciously, I am having them do an oil change and I didn't take a loaner. BTW mine is at like 5k miles too, but I think mine is a legit issue. Hard to explain, but they were able to duplicate the problem, and should be pulling it apart today or tomorrow.
