well just like the question asks..i went to build my own SS/SC and i picked blue but yet i cant have the blue inserts??? only the black.... wtf is up with that.hopefully one of u guys can let me know why GM decided they were gonna do that.

 

I have seen an 06 Laser Blue with blue inserts, they were the same inserts as sold with the Arrival Blue and did not match the car at all. God it was ugly, that's prolly why they pulled the plug on that option.

 

I saw one at my dealership... 06 Laser Blue with blue inserts, but I sprung for the G85 and got the recaros in my car! But it did look horrible!

 

i agree...when i was building mine online i wanted the inserts...then i couldnt find one on the dealer lot so i have the black inserts.

i saw a laser blue with the blue inserts and it looked horrible, glad i couldnt find one when i bought mine.

 

If you ordered the G85 package you want be unless specifically request it, for them to change the seats

 

I just went and tried it, and the thread starter is right. Regardless of whether you try and build with G85 or not, it WILL NOT let you pick blue inserts.

 

IMO - Spring for the G85 package. You may be able to order the door panel inserts through GM Parts?

 

There was an 06 on a lot here in Boardman, Laser blue with blue inserts. I think its still there actually.
