I agree.
The person was an idiot for racing on highways with other motorist at very dangerous speeds and cutting in and out of traffic at said speeds.

Now had he taken it to a back area road that has not residential surroundings and is straight road for a good 3 miles like my crew does we would have this issue.

While Street racing is bad it can be controlled. It's the idiots that don't think and have to big of an ego that cause the pain and suffering of family's when the **** does hit the fan.
I pray for the family of the trucker and hope thru all this they find peace.

Street racing is so dumb.....Just save it for the track, that way you dont have to do any gay roll racing like most do on the streets.

I semi agree with you on that.
I street race to and see no problem with it except when it's not done right like in this case.
Had they either gone to a track, road course, or rural back roads this would not of been a problem. They're would of been no truckers or cars to hit. The only thing that can happen is you lose control and hurt yourself or the other racer.

As for this thread going to get retarded......yes will have people moaning and whining but at least it's visible. People will see it and at least walk away knowing of it. Now what lesson they take from it. Thats a different ball game.

Yeah theres a difference between doing a straight quarter mile run, and hauling ass doing 100+ mph weaving in an out of traffic for twenty miles.

There is a REASON why they build tracks. FOR RACING!!! It has absolutely no place on the streets. I don't care how 'safe' you and your crew think you are. That statement just proves how retarded street racers are. IDIOTS!

But at least the people on the track know the risks they are taking. There is nothing more selfish that endangering the lives of innocent people for your own stupid self gratification. Why don't street racers just pull over, whip down their pants and compare ***** sizes. That's what its all about anyway.

We can only hope that some moron like you kills or injures one of your loved ones in the future so that you can see the error of your ways. Unbelieveable.

The nearest track is an hour and a half drive away if you love to pay to build one in my area I'll be glad to race only there.

Every time a thread starts up and I post that people jump on me so for the tenth time I will explain.

The road we use is double wide. It goes to an old residental housing development that use to only be accesible by this road we use. But when the highway came in they made a entrance to it at the complex. So people could either drive 10 minutes to get to the highway or drive 30 seconds and get to the highway which is the only road that goes anywhere in my town. Thus every one uses the highway entrance.

The owner of the complex told my friends and everyone who runs there that he quote: does not allow us to run there for legal purposes but he won't call the cops if we did it." He also said he didn't care if it got marked.

That was two years ago. He comes and watches some of the races. The road is marked for 1/4 mile distance.

Cops have no jurisdiction due to zoning. Only Highway patrol can arrest you there and they don't drive up that road because it's not even on a map!

So again who's running safer me and my crew or the ones in the OP's post?

Think carefully before you answer.

Him and his "crew" , priceless Fast and furious mentality

Take it to the track two hours away, at least by the time you get there, your tank will be that much lighter

Seriously, though. A Grand Am, Musting vert, and a Honda Civic? At 170kph (~105mph), all of them were likely pegging their speed governors. Not like anyone can win that race when you're all going the same speed.

Not to mention the handling capabilities of the cars at those speeds is next to nothing. There was so much more wrongdoing happening then some guys racing down a street. So much more stupidity. Even on an empty road, they were all living on borrowed time until a tire blew, or someone hit a rabbit or something. I don't care how much jail time any of them get, as long as none of them ever get the privilege of driving again.

this is why threads like this get out of control. im sure youve never done anything bad in your life, you must be so perfect that you can call out other people.

So call it what then?
Gang, Group, Pose?
Yeah we're a crew. In the real respect of the word not Fast & Fucked up style.
We work on our own cars. Ever put a SC in a Trans Am, swap transmissions, put a stall converter on a car? Ever change out an engine and put a new one in? Not the same on mind you but an actual engine swap?

I'm sorry to hurt the idea of Ricer mentality but I come from a group that actually does ****.
