Wideband A/F Gauge or Aeroforce scan ?

Can you just get one? or do they both do completely opposite things? If getting just one which one? 500-600 gauges is alot , so trying not to get both. Thanks~!

Just get the aeroforce. It has 2 analog inputs so You can install a WB 02 sensor and run it straight to the Interceptor and save your $$$ on the WB a/f Gauge.

thanks, makes sense to me ! and the interceptor just plugs in to your cpu/code reading port right?

would this be fine?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INNOV...spagenameZWDVW

or is there a certain type i should look for?

also it looks like you have to have a harness to plug into it, will the interceptor come with the right one?

Why get both when you can get DUAL interceptors?

thats a great wideband sensor(its a bosh they make dam good stuff)

the only part i could see possibly being a problum os finding what wires from the sensor plug into the intercepter so the gauge will read.

I'm sure somebody on here has it done or will know what wire to use but the sensor will work

Same here. I get my gauge either today and tomorrow and it would be really helpful if we could hook up a wideband 02 sensor to the gauge. Someone should email aeroforce and ask them if it's possible. Right now I'm in school so I can't.

Yup. I think you also have to hook up one more wire to the gauge like a power wire of some sort. Should be very easy though.

Someone needs to find out. I really want to have a wideband hooked up to my aeroforce. This gauge is amazing. The only thing it's missing is the freakin wideband a/f meter.

Well get a meter and go under the car. I have yet to look at the O2 sensor yet so I dont know how many wire it is but if its a 4 wire then you have 2 grounds and a heater wire and then a signal wire. If its a 3 wire you have 1 ground instead.

but thats only a narrowband, and isn't anywhere near as accurate. A lot of people seem to consider that only for show.

this all depends on why you are getting these gauges. unless you are using the wideband o2 sensor to tune your car, don't bother spending the money, just get the interceptor gauge. if, however, you have a moderately modded car (i.e. 2.8" or smaller pulley w/ 42.5lb/hr injectors) i would recommend getting a wideband o2 sensor and plug it into the interceptor gauge. the aeroforce interceptor gauge comes equpped to read your a/f from you stock narrowband o2 sensor which is not accurate at all.

There are instructions that come with your interceptor. There is a green wire coming off the back of the interceptor, just tap that wire with the wire from your WB 02 sensor

are you sure that will work? b/c it looks like the O2 Sensors come with a harness of wires... not just one or 2...

well you've got a heater wire, at least 1 ground wire and a signal wire.....

soooooo just gotta match up what wire is the signal wire...instructions come with the sensor so it'll be easy.
