wideband sensor

So I've seen the how to's and what not for installing the wideband but when you weld the bung in, has anyone taken the dp off to do it? Is that the easier way or can it be done with the dp on the car still? Obviously taking it off would make it easier to weld the bung on but is it worth taking it off with the rusty bolts and all that hassle?

Its best to have the bung on the side of the DP not top or bottom.

Take it off.

Yeah I was going to put it at about 2 o'clock position but I just wasn't sure if you could get to it while it was on or if it was worth the hassle to take it off
