Thumbs up Will I fit?

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and I hope to learn a post a lot here! I've recently only gotten on the Cobalt craze, so...

I have a question. I'm a bigger guy. I am 6'8" tall, and weigh 270 lbs. Will I fit into either the Cobalt SS Sedan or the SS Supercharged Coupe? I'm waiting for February to roll around for the greater Cleveland Auto Show so I can go sit in them. (and the Vettes. I luv the Vettes.)

The whole reason I got interested in this car, is because I really like the Corvette. However, with Northeast Ohio winters plus the cost, it's not feasible. So I heard that the Cobalt is sports car-esque manual trans car, plus it's front wheel drive and fuel efficient. I'm totally onboard. Any advice you guys could offer would be great!

I look forward to posting with y'all.

if you can fit in a vette, you'll fit in a cobalt no problem...

I had a friend who is bigger then you drive my car, and he said it felt pretty confortable. But that is what test drives are for, so go to the dealer and hope in one and find out for yourself.

the person who might sit behind you will have one crappy ride. but other than that i dont see why you wouldnt fit. i think theres ample head room for a man of your stature. but like they said, test driving is where its at.

No, I'm not lazy, I just have work in a bit at 6:00, and I don't like test driving unless I plan to buy within the month, and the Cobalt purchase is still a couple years down the line, I'm just really excited about it and I'm obsessive to the point in which I get prepared. The reason I asked though, was because I sat in it last year at the Auto Show, and I had problems, maybe the seat was just too far up? I don't know, but I can't wait till this year.

And do the seats really make that big of a difference? Also, I've checked inventory around all my Chevy dealerships and none of them have the Cobalts I like. Has anyone ever special ordered?

to be honest i was surprised at the room in this car.
im 6'3 250lbs and this is one of the only cars ive ever driven, where if i put the seat all the way back and tilt it so i have the right head room, i dont feel comfortable reaching the peddles lol.

I have my seat tilted back so im not hitting the headliner and the seat a few notches farward.

Not to mention it has manual height adjustment so you can lift and lower the bottom cushion of the seat to allow taller people even more head room.

I think youll do fine.
